The semester is coming to a close, but there’s still plenty of excitement in the Alpha Epsilon chapter. After many weeks, lots of hard work, plenty of new ideas, and determined sisters our chapter has elected a new Executive and General Board! Each and every one of the new position holders has the talent and tenacity to lead this chapter of Sigma Delta Tau to new successes. From new philanthropy ideas, to improved financial structures, to more ideas for sisterly bonding, we are very impressed with what these women have to offer. We look forward to the coming year with their guidance. Additional thanks goes to those position-holders of the past year, who enabled these women and our chapter to continue towards new capabilities. Leaders: we are proud of you and have faith in you to make next year the beSDT one yet!

On November 25, come to the West Lafayette Orange Leaf for some yummy treats -and feel good about it too! Sigma Delta Tau will be hosting a skip-a-meal all day, with 15% of every purchase going towards our national Sister to Sister fund. Sigma Delta Tau is all about empowering women and this fund helps continue our mission. Every year, one SDT sister is chosen, by merit and need, to receive the Sister to Sister grant in order to help her finish her college studies. Show your support of continuing to make higher education available by doing something easy and delicious!
Either print this flyer and bring it when you come, or meet one of the sisters at the door and use the flyer she gives you!
We are so excited to announce the installment of our newest sisters: the Alpha Gamma class! With over 30 women, this new member class is the biggest one our chapter at Purdue has seen. We are very proud of their accomplishments through the new member program, and we are equally as excited to see what they will bring to our chapter in the semesters to come.
There are always exciting things happening with the SigDelt women of Purdue! Keep up with all the latest activities and fun by following us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!
Didn’t have a chance to go through all of formal recruitment?
Don’t worry, there’s still time to learn more about Sigma Delta Tau!
Alpha Epsilon chapter of Sigma Delta Tau, here at Purdue University, is beginning the season of continuous recruitment. We would love the chance to meet you and your friends and tell you all about the amazing opportunities available with this sisterhood! We are a part of Panhellenic Council and enjoy interacting with all of the other Greek Organizations on campus. We do not live in a house together on campus, but that doesn’t mean that our sorority lacks – in fact we feel stronger as a chapter with all of the possibilities still available to us. Lean more about our sisters, philanthropy, and awards and achievements here or by coming to one of our fun recruitment events:
Sept. 16: Craft Night (ARMS B071) get your craft on with the SDT sisters
Sept. 17: Game Night (ARMS 1109) play board games with the Sig Delts
Sept. 18: Mocktails (ARMS B071) an elegant event to get to know everyone (sundress or nice pants/blouse encouraged)
Don’t forget to stay updated with us by checking this website, liking our Facebook page, and following us on Twitter and Pinterest!
The ladies of Sigma Delta Tau are excited to announce a new semester, and along with it, another season of recruitment. This year is particularly exciting because we will be fully participating in Purdue’s Panhellenic Formal Recruitment. Join the Purdue Greek Sorority Recruitment process through this website: Panhellenic Recruitment Fall 2013.
The formal recruitment process begins with an information session on August 22, and the formal recruitment events take place on August 24-25 and August 30-September 2.
Going Greek is a wonderful way to get involved in the Purdue community!
There’s less than two weeks of school left! Our chapter is buzzing with bittersweet feelings as we reflect on the great year we’ve had and look forward to our futures:
Kickin’ the Fools Away 2013 for PCAA
Our 3rd annual kickball tournament, benefitting Prevent Child Abuse America, was a huge success! Thanks to the hard work of our philanthropy chair Ashley Flores, our hardworking sisters, and everyone who participated or contributed to the efforts, we were able to raise and donate $1,182.62 – our personal record! It was a beautiful day filled with tons of fun. Also, congrats to Kappa Sigma and Alpha Gamma Delta for being named the tournament champs.

Alpha Beta Class
Our most recent members are finally able to be called ‘official!’ After completing the long journey through new member process, we welcomed them graciously as our youngest sisters. As a class they have so much excitement, and individually we are loving getting to know them more and more. Looking forward to many more memories with all of them!
our new sisters are always so enthusiastic and ready to see what SDT can bring
Our Dear Seniors
After numerous years in the chapter, we had to say goodbye to our departing seniors. We will never forget the passion and dedication they had for Sigma Delta Tau. They were amazing leaders and helped to bring our chapter up to places we never dreamed of. We are growing more every day and it is thanks to these wonderful women who got us to this point. Seniors, your sisterhood and legacy will not be forgotten! We will miss you, but you have so much to look forward to in your next journey of life. Good luck!

This year was so jam-packed, but we loved every minute of it! Enjoy the summer break, get some rest, and get ready to see these Sig Delts right back at it again in August when we participate in our first full formal recruitment at Purdue!!
